Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric/pneumatic forklifts and material handling equipment
- Execute inventory management protocols with RF scanning technology
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional warehouse operations for optimal workflow
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment usage
- Manage loading dock operations and freight documentation
- Implement lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (3+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in narrow-aisle and reach truck operation
- Advanced knowledge of WMS inventory systems (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean MVR record
- Forklift repair certification (NCCCO a plus)
