Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
- Train junior operators on equipment handling and safety standards
- Optimize stacking patterns to maximize warehouse space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 2+ years experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
