Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-traffic warehouse zones
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate inventory movements using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Comply with OSHA standards and internal safety guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 3+ years experience operating warehouse equipment in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work standing for 8+ hour shifts
- Proficient with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift reach truck and order picker endorsements preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
