Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with team members to streamline loading/unloading processes
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Support cross-functional projects in distribution and fulfillment areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA certification and current forklift operator license
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and equipment maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory tracking systems (WMS preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
