Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and organize inventory
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
Qualifications
- 3+ years of forklift operation experience (valid certification required)
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certifications (Sit-down, Reach, Order Picker)
