Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute efficient inventory management through cycle counting and stock rotation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless material flow and order fulfillment
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, documenting operational metrics
- Train junior operators on advanced handling techniques and safety standards
- Optimize storage space utilization through strategic pallet placement
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
