Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory receiving, stacking, and order fulfillment in 50,000 sq ft warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Implement lean principles to improve warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current/renewable within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/logistics environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
