Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for seamless loading/unloading
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain OSHA compliance documentation and safety protocols
- Train new operators on warehouse systems and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts for maximum space utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Forklift license endorsements for hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
