Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, and Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation before starting shifts.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving logs.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize storage space and retrieval efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to pass a background check.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use RF scanners or handheld devices.
