Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with dock teams
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using WMS systems
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Optimize stacking/storage to maximize warehouse capacity
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
