Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable web applications using React and Node.js to support millions of concurrent users during the event.
- Design and optimize backend APIs and microservices to ensure real-time data accuracy for live scores and venue information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus on user experience and accessibility.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Implement robust security measures to protect user data and transaction integrity.
- Ensure system reliability and performance under high load through rigorous testing and deployment strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain a suitable security clearance (Public Trust) if required.
