Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, scalable system architectures tailored for the 2026 era, focusing on AI integration and edge computing.
- Future-Proofing Strategy: Conduct rigorous risk assessments and technology forecasting to ensure our infrastructure remains relevant and secure against emerging threats.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Mentorship & Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning, guiding junior architects and developers in advanced technologies and best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, optimizing resource allocation to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party technologies and vendors that align with our long-term strategic vision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Future Tech Proficiency: Strong understanding of emerging technologies relevant to 2026, such as Quantum Computing interfaces, Generative AI integration, and Blockchain protocols.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or PMP are highly preferred.
