Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026 technology roadmap, including scenario planning and trend analysis
- Architect and implement innovation frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, bioengineering)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy and operations
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Establish KPIs and metrics for innovation maturity and future-readiness across the organization
- Present insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums on emerging tech landscapes
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with accountability for ROI and strategic alignment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of scaling exponential technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills with futurist certification preferred
- Experience directing cross-functional teams in matrixed corporate environments
- Prior success in securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and delivering measurable ROI
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (Systems Thinking, Futures Studies, Engineering, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
