Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic scenarios and roadmaps for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, sustainable tech)
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder dialogues on future implications
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on long-term strategic foresight
- Integrate future intelligence into product development and investment portfolios
- Build cross-functional networks with academic, government, and industry futurists
- Present findings to board members and influence high-stakes strategic decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
- Experience with foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, causal layered analysis)
