Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop predictive models using advanced statistical frameworks and machine learning algorithms
- Author white papers and scenario-planning reports for Fortune 500 clients on future industry disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database with automated anomaly detection
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or technology forecasting
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and data visualization (Seaborn, Plotly)
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information from diverse sources (academic, market, social)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and Delphi techniques
- Strong portfolio showcasing published trend analyses or future-focused projects
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred) or equivalent practical expertise
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
