Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product/service blueprints
- Partner with R&D to validate future-state concepts through rapid prototyping
- Present strategic briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Strong background in technology (AI, biotech, quantum computing) or sustainability
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience leading multi-year strategic initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent preferred
