Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for product innovation
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map future possibilities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype futuristic concepts and validate market readiness
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and drive innovation culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSD, CIP)
