Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Develop scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients in 3 verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategy
- Author quarterly trend reports distributed to 10,000+ industry stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and Singularity University
- Design and deploy AI-powered trend analysis tools for client engagements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology leadership
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major industry publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Experience with AI/ML trend analysis platforms (e.g., GPT-4, Palantir)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic implementations
- Deep understanding of climate-tech, biotech, and neurotech convergence points
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futurist academy)
