Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market disruption forecasts
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops with executive teams and industry stakeholders
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging tech (quantum computing, bio-integration, autonomous systems)
- Build cross-functional prototypes for futuristic concepts using our Innovation Lab resources
- Publish thought leadership reports on technology trajectories and societal impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends and convergence patterns
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and rapid prototyping tools
