Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and present innovation roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using quantum/NLP/AI tools
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and other future-focused institutions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Design and implement corporate foresight methodologies using scenario planning tools
- Mentor junior innovation strategists in future-focused research methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or technology foresight at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing successful 5-10 year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI ethics, or biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental innovation projects
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
