Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging technology trends through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Design innovation roadmaps for 2026+ product development cycles
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic labs and startups in exponential tech
- Author thought leadership reports on societal impact of AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive analytics and AI-driven models
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in foresight, innovation strategy, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial innovation
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, AI forecasting)
