Responsibilities
- Lead development of the 2026 global innovation strategy through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce scenario-based roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Analyze geopolitical and socio-economic impacts on technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and establish foresight methodologies
- Report directly to Chief Innovation Officer on strategic priorities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
