This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, creative foresight, and executive leadership to position our organization at the cutting edge of technological and societal evolution.
As a key member of our C-Suite strategy team, you'll collaborate with global industry leaders, conduct horizon-scanning research, and develop scenarios that anticipate paradigm shifts across AI, biotechnology, and sustainable ecosystems. You'll shape innovation pipelines, influence product roadmaps, and mentor cross-functional teams to navigate uncertainty with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop and present scenario-based strategic frameworks to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate adaptation technologies
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into patentable innovations and market opportunities
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes or policy impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leader with 20+ articles/white papers on future trends
- Experience building and leading global foresight teams or initiatives
