Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts and technological convergence points to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for Fortune 500 partners
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier publications
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or space commercialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu, Causal Mapping)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field
- Proven track record of advising Fortune 500 boards on 5+ year horizons
- Security clearance preferred (federal projects)
