Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic vision through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on emerging tech disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions in AI and biotech
- Author annual 'Future State' reports with quantifiable impact projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Present foresight findings to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning with proven 5-year horizon impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent designation required
- Experience with predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical audiences
