Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future Impact Reports with quantified risk/opportunity matrices
- Architect strategic roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing integration
- Partner with C-suite executives to align future-proof initiatives with organizational goals
- Establish innovation incubators for emerging technologies with $10M+ annual budget
- Present findings at global forums and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year future roadmaps
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author in futurism or technology forecasting (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience with Delphi method, cross-impact analysis, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Public speaking experience at global conferences (TED, Davos, etc.)
