Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead strategic workshops with stakeholders to align innovation priorities with long-term business objectives
- Create detailed scenario plans for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and their market implications
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to accelerate innovation cycles
- Author thought leadership publications and industry reports positioning InnovateTech as a 2026 technology pioneer
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum systems, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex technical concepts
