As a thought leader in emerging tech, you'll transform foresight into actionable strategies that shape our product ecosystem and market dominance. This role demands a blend of deep technical acumen, strategic innovation, and the ability to navigate complex futures in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and assess commercial viability through rigorous trend analysis
- Develop multi-year strategic foresight frameworks incorporating socio-technological shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and corporate vision
- Author white papers and thought leadership content positioning our brand at the vanguard of innovation
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive teams navigating technological disruption
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven modeling and competitive analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years in corporate strategy or R&D
- Proven expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep familiarity with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology or strategy publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
