Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with ESG principles and UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops using design thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Manage portfolio of innovation projects with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and long-term competitive advantage
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms for emerging tech scouting
Qualifications
- 8+ years in corporate innovation, strategy consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in futures research methods (e.g., Delphi, SWOT, STEEP analysis)
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in innovation management tools (e.g., Aha!, Productboard, Miro)
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and Design Thinking methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation programs within Fortune 500 environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
