Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies using SAP inventory software
- Oversee inbound/outbound shipments for 10,000+ SKU catalog with barcode scanning systems
- Generate monthly inventory valuation reports for executive leadership team
- Train junior staff on FIFO protocols and OSHA warehouse safety standards
- Collaborate with procurement team to optimize reorder points for seasonal demand
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives reducing inventory shrinkage by 15%+
- Coordinate third-party logistics providers for cross-dock operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years inventory management experience in high-volume retail/distribution
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Expert knowledge of GS1 barcode standards and RFID technology
- Proven ability to lead physical inventories of 50,000+ units
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance root cause analysis
- Proficient in Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
