Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment with zero-accident records
- Optimize inventory flow through advanced WMS systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Lead cross-functional teams during high-volume shipping cycles
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15%
- Train and mentor junior material handlers on safety protocols
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain 99.8% inventory accuracy
- Coordinate with customs brokers for international shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Spanish/English bilingual required
- Experience with hazardous materials handling (DOT training)
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license
