Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counts and documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional material movement between production and warehousing
- Maintain 5S workspace standards for optimal efficiency and safety
- Train junior staff on material handling protocols and equipment operation
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve workflow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
