Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic receiving, stocking, and cycle counting
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Maintain clean and organized workstations to meet 5S compliance
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices and safety protocols
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of material handling experience in a high-volume warehouse
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to dynamic workflows
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
