Responsibilities
- Handle and transport high-value materials using advanced warehouse equipment
- Maintain precise inventory records with WMS systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless loading/unloading
- Implement safety protocols to prevent workplace incidents
- Train new material handlers on equipment and procedures
- Optimize storage layouts for maximum space utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of material handling experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA-certified forklift operation required
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Forklift certification (stand-up and sit-down)
- Experience with hazardous material handling a plus
