Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic receiving, storage, and distribution processes
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities to optimize warehouse workflow
- Implement lean principles to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain detailed records of material movements and inventory counts
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Collaborate with logistics supervisors to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Certification in forklift operation and OSHA safety protocols
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong mathematical skills for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid Tennessee driver's license required
