Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Accurately receive, scan, and stock incoming inventory with zero tolerance for errors
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping deadlines
- Maintain precise inventory records using WMS systems
- Lead safety training sessions for new material handlers
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 2+ years of material handling experience in fast-paced warehouse environments
- OSHA-certified forklift operation certification required
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology
- Strong attention to detail with inventory accuracy above 99.5%
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Experience with OSHA safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
