Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage material flow using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Accurately process incoming/outgoing shipments with inventory management systems
- Maintain organized storage areas while implementing safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Conduct quality inspections and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Operate automated material handling systems with precision
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
