Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.8% accuracy using WMS software
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated conveyor systems safely
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations with shipping/receiving teams
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards in all material handling procedures
- Optimize warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization and efficiency
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Generate daily performance reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
