Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and cross-docking
- Maintain organized storage areas and optimize space utilization
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance
- Train junior staff on warehouse protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to meet daily KPIs
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of material handling experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA-certified forklift operation (or equivalent certification)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
