Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture: Design and implement scalable microservices and backend systems utilizing the latest capabilities of Python 3.26.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and refactor legacy code to achieve sub-millisecond latency.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices, design patterns, and Python 3.26 idioms.
- CI/CD Integration: Enhance our deployment pipelines using modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions).
- Technical Strategy: Stay ahead of the curve on upcoming PEPs and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Python 3.26 Proficiency: Deep understanding of upcoming features in Python 3.26 (e.g., enhanced type hinting, new standard library modules).
- Tooling: Expert proficiency in async frameworks (FastAPI, asyncio) and SQL databases.
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
