Job Description
We are building the computational infrastructure for the year 2026 and beyond. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Architect to bridge the gap between cutting-edge quantum hardware and next-generation artificial intelligence. You won't just be writing code; you will be architecting the fundamental logic of a new era of computing, solving problems currently deemed unsolvable by classical silicon.
In this role, you will spearhead the development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that will power our flagship predictive modeling systems. You will work in a high-performance environment alongside physicists, cryptographers, and machine learning engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible.
Why Join Us?
- Work on projects that define the future of technology.
- Competitive equity and comprehensive benefits package.
- Flexible remote-first policy with a presence in our SF innovation hub.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for large-scale machine learning tasks.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to translate quantum circuit requirements into deployable software stacks.
- Conduct research into error mitigation techniques and noise resilience in near-term quantum devices.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers on quantum computing best practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Lead architectural discussions to ensure scalability and security of our quantum data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
