Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and optimize complex quantum algorithms for near-term quantum computers (NISQ devices) and future fault-tolerant systems.
- Research & Development: Conduct cutting-edge research into quantum error mitigation, qubit gate optimization, and quantum simulation techniques.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of quantum software engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Hardware-Software Synergy: Collaborate closely with hardware teams to tailor algorithmic approaches that maximize the efficiency of specific quantum processors.
- Publish & Disseminate: Author and present high-impact research papers at leading quantum computing conferences and journals.
- Prototyping: Build and deploy scalable prototypes of quantum solutions for potential commercial applications in cryptography and material science.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in algorithm design, with at least 3 years specifically focused on quantum computing (using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of linear algebra, complex numbers, and probability theory. Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Innovation: A proven track record of publishing novel research or delivering innovative solutions in the quantum computing space.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
