Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction algorithms achieving 99.999% fidelity
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of quantum physicists and hardware engineers
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Secure quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for Fortune 100 clients
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology roadmap and patent strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent with 8+ years industry experience
- Published author in top quantum computing journals (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Cirq)
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor design and control systems
- Security clearance preferred for government quantum projects
