Responsibilities
- Architect and design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and algorithms tailored for near-term quantum processors.
- Develop and optimize hybrid quantum-classical software stacks to solve complex computational problems.
- Lead the research into quantum error correction methods and error mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to bridge the gap between theoretical models and physical implementation.
- Mentor junior architects and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for quantum software development.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in quantum computing, specifically with frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics.
- Proven track record of implementing quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, or machine learning tasks.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
