Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including scheduling, documentation, and carrier selection
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays or customs issues
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse coordination for timely order fulfillment
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, and customs paperwork
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and carrier teams to meet delivery SLAs
- Implement cost-saving measures in transportation and freight management
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in shipping/logistics coordination role
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
