Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs compliance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with 3PL providers to reduce costs by 15%
- Monitor shipment status proactively and resolve transit delays within 4-hour SLA
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems using WMS software
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping schedules with client demands
- Analyze logistics KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or warehouse logistics
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- OSHA Hazmat certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid Missouri driver's license
