Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, CMRs)
- Optimize routing and negotiate freight rates with 3PL providers
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on loading/unloading schedules
- Generate shipment reports and performance analytics
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight coordination or logistics
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills under time pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
