Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including freight scheduling, carrier selection, and documentation
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse logistics to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and delays through proactive communication with carriers and clients
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet customer delivery requirements
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations and customs documentation
- Utilize logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) for shipment tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Certified in transportation logistics (CSCP or CTL preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with carriers and clients
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations (Incoterms, customs)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
