Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse logistics to prevent stock discrepancies
- Liaise with international freight forwarders and negotiate shipping rates
- Implement and improve shipping protocols using WMS/TMS systems
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transit delays
- Prepare accurate customs declarations and compliance documentation
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior coordinators on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms
- Certified Customs Broker or CSCP preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
