Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for international and domestic freight, including carrier selection, route optimization, and transit tracking
- Prepare and manage customs documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin) ensuring 100% regulatory compliance
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehouse operations to prevent stockouts during critical shipping windows
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and clients to resolve shipment discrepancies and delays
- Implement cost-saving measures through carrier negotiations and process improvements
- Maintain accurate shipment records in ERP systems and generate performance reports
- Train junior coordinators on shipping protocols and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in customs regulations (19 CFR) and Incoterms 2020
- Advanced skills in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS platforms)
- Certification in logistics management (CSCP, CLTD, or CILT) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex shipping data
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with international stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
